Terms & Conditions

- By reserving a place on the course, you are agreeing to pay the full amount of £170 (early bird offer £150) for the Easter course or £250 (early bird offer of £230) for the summer course.

 

-Until full payment has been received, your child’s place is not guaranteed. Payment made by 24th March 2026 for Easter and 14th July 2026 for summer.

-Places are awarded on a first come first served basis.

​

- Early booking is recommended to secure your child’s place. Payment instalments can be arranged. Please email info@scherzostringssummerschool.com to request this. 

​

- To qualify for the Easter Early bird of £150 the course fee must be received by 12th Jan 2026.

- To qualify for the Summer Early bird of £230 the course fee must be received by April 20th 2026.

​

- Entry deadlines: Easter course: Feb 23rd 2026. Summer course: May 19th 2026. Applications received after this date cannot be guaranteed a place. Your child will be added to a waiting list. 

​

- You will be notified by Feb 23rd for the Easter course and May 19th for the Summer course 2026 if the course is no longer viable. In this situation, any payments will be returned in full. 

​

- If your child can no longer attend the course, the cancellation must be notified immediately by email to info@scherzosringssummerschool.com and must be received no later than one working day before the start of the course. The refund policy is as follows:

• Up to 21 days prior to the course start date refund in full minus £25

• Between 7 and 20 days prior to the start date refund 50% of course fee

• Less than a week prior to the course start date refund 25% of course fee

• On or after the first day of the course no refund

 

- Please inform us of any medical issues or allergies we may need to be aware of. It is important that you give us all the facts we need to know to keep your child safe. A medical form will need to be filled in prior to the course stsrt.

- We will have a first aider and first aid kit on site.

​

- We have public liability insurance and DBS checks for all adults over 18.

​

- By attending Scherzo Strings Summer School, you allow photos of your child to be used on publicity sites. Those appearing on our publicity shall not be named. If you do not wish to give consent, please contact us before the course.

​

- Risk assessments will be done for fire procedures.

​

- Children will not be allowed off site without adult supervision.

​

-Collection at the end of the day must be done by a designated adult, please inform us who will be collecting.

​

-Scherzo String Summer School accepts no responsibility for damage, theft or loss of instruments or personal belongings.

​

-Good behaviour is expected at all times. Children who do not meet these expectations, after several warnings, may not be allowed to return. 

​

-We reserve the right to alter advertised instructors and course content.

​

-We reserve the right to review these terms without prior notice.
